Rob Cohen's taxonomy of Nonsuch topics

Did you see his post on the discussion board: https://groups.google.com/g/INA-Nonsuch-Discussion-Group/c/s2fdG0L7ry4/m/yQNqGG6pAgAJ

It seemed like a nice breakdown of topics that might be useful to thing about. Maybe for people putting tags on discussions?

I thought the same thing. We could have a set like that, maybe another with tags like problem area, winterization, upgrade projects, etc. and yet another by model - N22, N26, etc.

The challenge will be too make the tags easy to find and appy. O/w, people either won’t or will make up their own.

I rhink they are in a drop down, but i didn’t see a way to prevent people from making new ones.

It looks like we can restrict tags by category, so we could have the full taxonomy for the knowledge base, but a different smaller set/subset for General.

What do you think about having another category for “How To and Advise”? To keep everything from going into General.

John good work!

I would recommend an electrical grouping

alternator
starter
batteries
regulator
charger
wiring diagrams
and so on…

and an engine grouping

injectors
heat exchangers
fuel pumps
fuel tanks
separators
filters
belts
impellers
transmissions
lubrication
timing
routine service
winterizing
