Joe Valinoti suggested checking the owner’s manual for the information.
Tom Schoenhofer proposed an alternative setup for the topping lift line, running it over the second sheave and down the mast, which could reduce weight and friction at the end of the boom.
However, Mark Powers raised concerns about this alternative setup, including potential interference with the headboard, difficulty in flicking the topping lift to the windward side of the sail after a tack, and possible chafe on the sail.
